The Rooks look to continue on their incredible run at The Pan. Following the win over Hashtag United last month, we have won 5 out of our last 5 outings at home and have scored 32 goals.

We currently sit 5th in the league with 31 points and a win today will see us get our highest points tally since the incredible achievement by Jacquie Agnew’s Rooks in 2011-12 when they went unbeaten to win the South East Combination Women’s Football League.

Message from The Chairman

A very warm welcome to the Dripping Pan for this afternoon’s match against Billericay especially our guests from Essex.

This is the penultimate home game of the season and check your socials for details of next Sunday’s match against Bournemouth for all the party details of the curtain closer to the season.

Between our last two home games we also have the important matter of the Sussex Senior Cup Final at Lancing on Wednesday. I hope to see as many Rooks fans there as possible as we bid to retain the trophy against Saltdean.

For all three of the aforementioned games we will be without our midfield playmaker Layla Banaras who is on international duty with Pakistan in the FIFA Series tournament being played in Cote D’Ivoire. Pakistan got their campaign off to an 8-0 victory over Turks and Caicos with Layla pulling all the strings in midfield scoring two goals and making another. Many congratulations to Layla.

On the subject of congratulations, on behalf of everyone at Lewes FC we send our warmest congratulations to our National Premier South rivals Watford Women who won the league last weekend and we wish them every success in WSL2 next season.

In contrast Billericay have had a difficult season and as was the case with MK Dons last season, have lost experienced players and have conducted this season with young players making their introduction to Tier 3 Women’s football. Hats off for their efforts throughout what has been a difficult season for them.

Come on You Rooks
